AmpliSIM - Amplicon Sequences SIMulation tool
AmpliSIM generates amplicon sequencing simulated sequences/reads.
Reads are generated amplicon by amplicon, including primers and tags and the allele sequences are randomly taken from a FASTA input file.
The maximum and minimum number of alleles per amplicon can be adjusted, also the number of reads per amplicon.
According to the technology chosen, sequencing errors are introduced randomly in the sequences following a binomial probability distribution.
AmpliSIM takes as input::
- ALLELE FILE: Allele sequences in a FASTA format file (compressed or uncompressed).
- AMPLICON DATA: Primer and tag information in a CSV format file as explained in the documentation.
Results can be downloaded on the same page or from an email message after analysis completion.
Output file will be in FASTA or FASTQ (depending of the input file) compressed format, ready to be used in other AmpliSAT tools like AmpliCHECK or AmpliSAS.
For more information, read the documentation.
Run AmpliSIM
